What we do
The Human Resources Department is located at 201 W Main Street, Hamlet N C 28345. It provides staff and operational support in the areas of personnel and risk management and Insurance.
About
The Department provides for the recruitment and hiring of new employees as well as the maintenance of employee personnel files and benefit programs that include employee health and life insurance and risk management. All of the cities open positions are posted on Indeed as well as the lobby of City Hall.
Training & Education
The following are some of the duties of the Hamlet HR Department:
- Recruitment and hiring of new personnel
- Maintenance of personnel files and benefits programs
- Recruit, advertise and aid in the application process
- Process applications as needed
- Schedule Pre-Employment Screening
- Manage Workers Compensation Claims
- Manage the City's Property and Liability Insurance and Claims
